About M1 Design Studio
M1 Design Studio is my maker space—where sewing, laser engraving, and design come together to create functional pieces with personality.
I started in fiber arts, and I still build the same way: with patience, precision, and a respect for materials. Over time, that craft expanded into a full studio of tools and techniques—custom bags and accessories, engraved keepsakes, small-batch drops, and made-to-order pieces that are meant to be used and kept.
M1 stands for Make One—because every idea deserves a first version. I prototype, test, and refine until it’s right, then bring it to life with the kind of detail you can feel.
Laser engraving is the main event at M1 Design Studio—personalized gifts, keepsakes, and small-batch goods with crisp detail and clean design. And the studio started with sewing. I still make project bags, backpacks, and totes, and I love bringing engraving and sewn work together when a piece calls for both.
Every piece starts with design and intention—then I test, refine, and dial in the details until it’s right. I work across wood, slate, acrylic, and more for engraving, and I also build sewn goods—from durable everyday totes to project bags and backpacks with thoughtful pockets, hardware, and finishes. Sometimes a project is purely engraved, sometimes purely sewn, and often it’s the blend that makes it feel truly custom.
